Alcohol Ink DEMO on Large Canvas - DIY Alcohol Painting with Tips and Process "THE GRAY HOPE" Ep. 1

Updated: Feb 1, 2023

As I try this new Oil Enriched Furniture Paint by #Valspar as a base coat for Alcohol Ink on canvas. I'm worried it's not going to work. Sorry, I forgot to hit "record" as I was putting down the first layer of blue. Typically with Arcylic paints, the alcohol will melt it and it will start breaking down the chemical composition of the paint. I've only had luck with #Kilz2.

I'm starting this Gray Series of paintings with this being the first of the series. I give you some really important tips and hopefully these stick with you as you do art in the future. In this demo, I explain my thought process and techniques as I work through this painting.
