I've been asked why I'm teaching others and what drives me to spend all this time filming, editing, and posting all my tips and tricks online for others. My answer is because helping others drives me. I enjoy hearing others find success in their art through my videos. A moment of discovery, a sale, a newfound voice. All of these are the reason why I do it.
As creatives and professionals, we sometimes experience imposter syndrome where we doubt our skills, talents, or accomplishments and have a persistent internalized fear of being exposed as a "fraud". I have always been behind the camera in my career, but I like to do something that scares me every year. In 2018 I decided to be in front of the camera with a new purpose. The purpose of inspiring others to pick up art and to overcome anxiety and fear. All of these reasons drive me to overlook my fears and do this journey with you. As I like to say "Let's do it!" Forget about the fear and anxiety Let's do it together and figure it out. Join me on this journey.
